Join the Scioto County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society at 11AM on June 8, 2024, at the Scioto County Public Library’s Robert Copley Meeting Room in Portsmouth, as we learn about the history of Otway, Scioto County, Ohio, as presented by the Otway Historical Society. Admission is FREE.

Join us in August for our bi-monthly meeting as we continue our genealogical adventures. Our guest speaker will be Eli Allen presenting on “The Basics for Cemetery Documentation.”

The March Board Meeting will be held on March 8th starting at 11:00 at our office at the Masonic Temple Building. All officers are encouraged to attend.

Our April meeting will be held in the Copley Meeting room at the Portsmouth Public Library. The meeting will begin at 11:00 with our guest speak Pat Smith from the Lucasville Historical Society. Please plan to attend. Refreshments will be served.
