This Privacy Policy outlines how the Scioto County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society (hereafter referred to as “SCCOGS”) collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the www.sccogs.com website (“Site”). We may collect personal identification information from Users in various ways, including but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order, subscribe to the newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features, or resources we make available on our Site. Additionally, please note that certain personal information may be shared with third-party payment processors solely for the purpose of processing transactions related to membership donations, event registrations, and merchandise purchases in accordance with our Refund Policy. Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to treasurer@sccogs.com, including the claimant’s full name, contact information, and a detailed explanation of the request.
